1st Whittlesford and Duxford Scout Group

The 1st Whittlesford and Duxford Scout Group provides adventurous activities and personal development opportunities for young people aged 6-14. Personal development means promoting the physical, intellectual, social and spiritual well-being of the individual, helping them achieve their full potential. In Scouting, we believe that young people develop most when they are 'learning by doing,' when they are given responsibility, work in teams, take acceptable risks and think for themselves.

We have places for young people between the ages of 6 and 18 in four different, age related, Sections - Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers.

We also welcome the support of adults. You do not need any previous experience as full training is given. It is hard to imagine any activity more rewarding than helping with a Scout Group. Why not come along and join in the fun? We are a popular Group and sometimes there is a waiting list for some of our sections. Contact us as soon as possible if you want to join. We try to find places for everyone.
